DSG not upshifting from 3rd to 4th? Is it broken?

Hiya,


need a little bit of advice...


- A week ago, under WOT, the tranny refused to auto-shift from 3rd to 4th. Engine and tranny and everything was warm. The engine just stayed at redline.

- This morning, engine cold, tranny cold (3 min into my drive, ambient around 15C), the tranny refused any upshift paddle commands from 3rd to 4th gear. After I cycled D and S mode, the tranny resumed normal shifting.


Any ideas?

I've had it happen in the 2-3 shift. It seems to only happen when the DSG oil isn't up to temp yet (takes about as much time driving as it does to get the engine oil to 180~).

Only happens on an on ramp, and has never happened to me on track.
