Umm okay....February sales were awful for the auto industry in general

Well the days of the $6-7k off MSRP, which only happened on the 2017's, aren't happening right now...accept it or troll on

Sales have especially bad for GTI's for some reason.

Seeing $5,500 off MSRP on 2019's already. We may see $6k off soon.

Trolling? Fuck off.

Cash transaction on a 2019 GTI S DSG with $29,910 MSRP for $24,874 plus tax, title and registration. Price included SCCA Partner Program discount and the doc fee was only $140.

Wow based upon the most recent transactions, the prices of GTI’s are high. For a vehicle that is not selling well you would think the dealers would want to move their GTI inventory. The above noted deal would be good if it was $24,000 OTD. Hopefully as 2019 marches on, the prices will drop.

Can you explain how you are targeting $24,000 OTD on a vehicle with $29,910 sticker? It might be really helpful for everyone out here.

I guess I’m thinking about 2017 prices.....
With that said a $30,000 sticker price is crazy.

Late 2017 / early 2018 pricing was an odd one for the following reasons: Dealers had a lot of 2017 inventory to clear and 2018s were coming in with People's warranty. Rating a 2019 MY deal with those numbers at this point of time might not be realistic.

In addition, you had a facelift, further lowering the 2017 prices.

Here, you have no visible differences between the 18 and 19.

I just got this offer in PA on a 2019 S Manual with Driver Assistance Package:

MSRP $29,274
Sale Price $24,947
Taxes $1664
Tags $642
Doc Fee $144
Out the Door $27,418

This would be all cash deal.

You need to look closer. The $5000 is on 2018's. 2019's show a $4000 discount.

If you qualify for all the discounts, does it not say you can buy a 2019
For $5k off MSRP? Because it does.

After April, it will be most likely be at $5k without the other discounts as VW continues to struggle to sell new GTI’s.

Difference between $4000 and $5500 isnt much when people just wanna argue. Also anyone can just speculate anything about future incentives.

As discussed several times here, most dealers include *almost every possible incentive* in their webpage and no one ever qualifies for all of the included incentives.
