It'd be a bit of a drive, but there's VWs In The Valley at Maggie Valley, NC during September 20 & 21, 2019.

It's not a high octane gathering of hot shoe drivers, seeing instead mostly air cooled entrants. But there are some great newer rides too. We find its modest size and mountain location to be just perfect.
There's a huge gathering of European cars in Savannah on May 18th and 19th, 2019. Here's a link:

Definitely check out Folly Beach. And as mentioned above Euro X is the big show down in Savanna, GA

Some great suggestions everyone! I would love to hit SoWo, and that'll be right when I'm moving down, so we'll see how that plays out.
The BFI event would be great, and hosted by a company I've come to like a lot. A little out there, but doable.
