Hey Guys,

So I installed a aftermarket subwoofer into my GTI and have since sold it. I'd like to put the Fender sub back in but I cut off the plug at the end of the cabling that the wires run into. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement plug/adapter?

I'm talking about the plug off the car that THEN plugs into the subwoofer. I just need to find a new plug to fit the wires into that will then plug into the subwoofer.

Any help is appreciated!

Those are part of the car harness, not sold seperately and typically OEM only and lots of $$$$.

You might have some luck by posting a picture of the plug and see if its a standard one that could be bought from Digikey or something like that.

Try mouser electronics. Sure there are 34k auto connectors but if you narrow by pins or something you might get lucky.

You can get that plug from the dealership I know people have found the part number for the female off the sub no reason you can't find the male and pins.

From searching PartsLink24, It looks like the part number is 6Q0 972 704
