Heating Menu in MIB

So I noticed this the other day… when in the settings under Car in my MIB, I have a menu item for “Heating” when the ignition off.



When I try to access it, I get a message that the menu isn’t available with the ignition off (similar to the nanny message you get when accessing a menu when the car is in motion).



When I turn the ignition on, the menu option disappears.



Anyone have any clue what this is supposed to be?

I presume that that is something that is Euro-spec?

Cold regions.

You have photos of 2 states:

• ignition off with the error message
• ignition on with the lack of menu item.

But in reality there are 3 states (forgive the old school pre-kessy lingo, but the concept remains):

• key off (radio on via pushing the volume knob)
• key on
• engine on

Unfortunately the word "ignition" has become kind of ambiguous due to phrases like "the key is in the ignition" which has nothing to do with actual spark/combustion.

Did you try all 3?
