Where is everyone going for tunes around KC? Bob Hindson quoted me $820 for an APR stage 1 tune + $58 for reflashes. That price is making me lean towards a JB4.....
If you're not dead set on APR, I'd suggest grabbing a Cobb Accessport through 5150 Racing. Flash at home, revert to stock for dealer work (yes technically still detectable like every other tune, but much better than paying $100 every time to re-flash APR), enhanced traction control, plus upcoming features like no-lift shift, launch control, etc. Cost me $700, which includes e-tunes for both gas and E30. Currently sorting out my 91 octane tune, and the car really scorches. It feels leaps and bounds stronger than my old JB4. Can't wait to finish the 91 tune and move on to E30 for another 20-30 hp.
But if you're sold on APR or whatever, I can understand. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure Bob Hindson is the only APR dealer in the metro. Or if you're ever down by Joplin, PHP Specialists is also an APR dealer. They're a fantastic shop, had my clutch done there.
