Able to located and worked out a deal with dealer for 2018 GTI SE trim for $27500 before TTL... Is this a good deal? based on my research online, this is an excellent price.

Here is my debate... 2019 is coming out within a month or so, should i get the new model or the 2018 which i saved about $4K... any feedback?

Unless you think you need to pay $3k for a funky color, then buy the 2018.

You can probably get the price around $1k lower (even more if you're looking at manual or cloth seats) if you're willing to take the train to DC to buy, but that's a hassle and may not be worth it to you. For non-DC-area, that's a solid price.
