Have a used JB1 with data cable. Works fine. Currently set to Map6 with George's recommended settings for DSG on 91. I drove it about 12k miles.
Decided to back off on the tune for now, I don't really get to use the HP because I'm mostly commuting with my kid to daycare/work and it's not that far + Bay Area traffic.
I'm the second owner as far as I know, and to be fully transparent, the guy before me electrical taped over all the exposed wires "to hide them better". Looks a little crappy because the tape has dried up from the heat of the engine bay,b ut it all works 100% and there's nothing damaged.
