MFD mods

Hi folks. Posting on the forum for the first time. I have a mk7 match.

I wanted to know if it is possible to mod the multi function display between the dials. I want it so that I can go through a playlist and select the song I want to listen to when playing music through my phone using the arrows buttons on the steering wheel. Currently as you know pressing the arrow buttons skips through the songs. I couldn’t find anybody asking for this so I guess it’s not possible but you never know. I have VCDS so I can mod using that.

What's a mk7 match. Also what you're talking about hasn't been done. I've seen one form member hack the mfd to show all kinds of car related variables, but that died off a while ago. He never shared it.

Just use the infotainment screen, it's literally right there

Match is a trim spec that's all

we get different stuff to you..& more options..but not as many as Germany/France...

To the OP, I don't think it can be done...not come across anything in VCDS...
