Gonna guess there is a 0% chance this car comes over here (America) in hatch form.
It's a nice competitor.. Hopefully it comes to North America, and seems about the same as the Golf R in most of it's specs. I guess the "real AMG" version would be a RS3 competitor.
Personally i'm not a fan of that interior (other than the seats which look awesome), the dash seems like it's trying too hard.

Does Mercedes actually believe that a tablet sitting on the dash (like Tesla sits one on the console) looks upscale?

I would buy this in a heartbeat if it was in the NA and was similar price as R.
From this video, it is £1,000 more expensive than R if you spec DSG.
Although, next car I'd probably upgrade so A45 would be the one I want.
