Leaky inner cv boot

Has anyone had any issues with the front inner cv boot area leaking grease? I have a 2016 golf r manual and my front passenger side inner axle boot is leaking.

I have this problem in years past but not on my MK7. My MK5, MK3 and MK2 all had fail CV boot/joint under 20K miles. I live in NY for 36 years when I own them and potholes were not kind. I think boots would tear and that would contaminate the CV eith debris and wear it early. I also bend many many rim. Take it in soon or cv grease will go all over under side of your golf and make a mess of it.

Apparently mine has started leaking, too. Did you tackle this repair yourself?
