Alarm LED? Activate with OBD11?

Hi all.
My 2018 S has what looks like an alarm LED near the drivers side mirror on the inside door panel. Do all come with this? It flashes when I lock the car, but nothing after the initial lock.

Is this for a non-installed alarm module? Any way to make it flash when locked using OBD11?

Most cars come without a dedicated alarm siren. And some members have stated that if the car was opened while locked that nothing happens.

I believe you can activate a car horn response for opening car while locked with OBD11.

Look for forum member southpawboston. His signature has an OBDeleven coding spreadsheet where you can activate the alarm functionality that triggers the car horn when the door is opened while locked.
