Hope this is the correct place to post this...

After recently purchasing a set of brand new shiny gloss black wheels i cant help noticing the ghastly looking rusty drums. I am thinking of painting them but would that be a pointless waste of time? What are peoples opinions???

Mine rear ones are terribly rusty. They look like crap even with my stock wheels which don't expose much.

If you will always use the same price point brake disc, then painting is a good option. Best to remove the Disc, remove rust and paint. Use high temp engine or brake caliper paint. The other option is to upgrade disc but some options are costly.

My older self painted disc.
