I hesitated opening mine because there were reports of it being noisy or "clicky" using any of the methods used, the ECS adapters or otherwise. But I sat in a new R yesterday where the console opened, and it made ratcheting noises anyway when just opening it. So I'm interested again. But I can't find my piece of paper with the part number for the rubber mat. Anyone have it handy?

You might get lucky and find one already in there. I remember back to when opening them was first a "thing" that a couple of dudes reported that their car came with one. I wasn't one of the lucky ones, got mine from e-acca.
