Sad to see that but in my experience living in CO and trying to have nice things were if the weather don't get you, the roads don't get you, the people will surely get you. I gave up and just drove a beater truck there which still got hit even in the "good" areas of Denver metro.

That's what I'm finding. I've been here for 12 years as of next month and my car has been hit by 5 different people, and the weather once. I've lost count of the amount of hits from the road.
