Best Coil Over MK7??

Bought some lowering springs for Golf-R and not happy with them. Coil overs is what I am looking for. Know of Bilstiens but what else is out there? Ohlins? KWs?

Then you really don't need to spend the money on Ohlins. Do you have DCC and would like to keep it?

I have VWR springs which keep the DCC. My body feels like a bowl of jello when I hit a bump. I had Ohlins on my Evo but don't see them for my Golf R

It's probably the springs that are the issue.

KW makes DCC coilovers. If I had DCC, that's the route I'd go.

These were recommended to me by my shop. What are you recommending?

I wouldn't go with kw. There are a few people that had issues with them on this chassis and their customer service sucked for them.

I had ST which are made by kw and I had issues too.

Tons of people have issues with KW/ST, look at VWroc forums on the KW ddc and its nothing but shit parts and problems out the wazoo, not to mention KW has terrible customer service.

Emmanuele Design springs work great with DCC. But if you want to spend the money on coilovers I’d go with the Bilstein. I know some people had issues with the KWs but I believe there’s a revision out now.

Did you have the ST X? Looking at a used SE w low miles that has them, the car looks like it's set up to ride pretty low. I'd likely raise it back up a bit.

Are the dampers adjustable, or just the ride height?

Thx
