Pool of water after rain in scuttle tray?

Hello folks, After a very long wait I finally took delivery of my mk7.5 GTE....
After heavy rain I notices pools of water staying in the scuttle tray at the bottom of the windscreen....Is this normal?

Seems a bit weird ... Ive had lots of VW/Audis over the years and never seen this before.... See pic:
Thoughts?

Mine hasn't pooled like that, drains pretty quickly.

This was discussed over on golfgtiforum.co.uk earlier this year. RHD Golfs only have one drain hole in the scuttle panel - on the driver’s side (don’t know about Rest of World models). So what you’re experiencing is normal.
