A quick picture tutorial on how to install our Heavy Weight Shift Knobs:
We've found that the trick to removing the pesky retaining clips is just a little bit of heat from a heat gun to get things plyable. We had it set on low for 30 seconds to a minute or so, just enough to soften it up.
Remember the coin goes on LAST!

The clamp holds the shift boot to the adapter on the blank area just above the set screws.
Judging by your picture, it looks like you installed yours using that technique.
Looks good!
