Buy oil extractor
Suck oil out of dipstick tube
Finish oil change in 5 mins start to finish including filter change
Never touch drain plug
Profit (after enough oil changes to offset the drain plug to oil extractor cost, if you already own one then its pure profit)
Also over filling the oil will only damage the cats. We've dealt with quite a lot of folks who get a check engine light, and then add in one or more quarts of oil. Now if you don't want to damage the cats, overfilling by up to .5 qts is okay. Much better for the engine then running under filled (under the hash marks on the stick).
