I have 3A44 code appeared after the 6B update that won't clear now.

Today I got a new one 3AB3. No clue what this is. Is there a complete list of codes with description available somewhere?
Would be really great.

I tried 3,4,8,10.8,12,12.6 and kept 12.6 as the high and then dropped a bit at 6,500-7,000. It didn’t work. Went to absolute again. I hit about 15.8 psi. Higher than target, but definitely not anywhere near the additive target. My ecu was requesting in the 8’s

Is there further clarity when setting the 6-cyl timing to 1, which turns of the nannies? Is it only additive less than 10, and absolute when greater than 10 for each rpm selected? Or is supposed to be additive for all rpms selected?

The 6cyl feature removes a 9psi and higher add restriction that will be affective in both additive and absolute maps.

The trigger for additive and absolute is the 1500rpm point only which the JB4 uses to decide what the user wants to run. See next post where the mapping is out due to triggering additive because 1500rpm is to low.

Made some changes to Map 6. Boost number are looking much better (actually boosting over targets), but timing isn't great, and also still getting some timing pull (less now though). It was hot (mid 90s).

Map 4: https://datazap.me/u/joofcorn/map-4-vs-6?log=0&data=1-4-11-14-25-26-27-28
Map 6: https://datazap.me/u/joofcorn/map-4-vs-6?log=1&data=1-3-4-11-14-25-26-27-28

Settings right now look like this:

1500: 7.9
2000: 9.9
2500: 12.1
3000: 14.2
3500: 16.5
4000: 17.7
4500: 18
5000: 17.7
5500: 16.7
6000: 14.1
6500: 12.1
7000: 9.2

FOL: 60

You need to start with the 1500rpm with 10 or higher. Having it below makes the whole map additive so the JB4 will try add the 18psi you asking for over stock. This is why we have the nannie that limits the boost add to 9psi max.

Help for a JB4 Noob?

Hi guys,

I'm wondering if anyone could help me create a map 6 user adjustment setting for my 2017 GSW 4Mo.
I just re-installed my JB4 with Bluetooth connect after buying a used one with a faulty OBD cable. George sent me a new cable which I am grateful for.

For now I have it in map 1, and it's really enjoyable thusfar, but I know I will want more power in a few hours...

Can anyone recommend some map 6 boost settings for me? I was planning on running Shell 91 octane gas if that is ok.

Thanks in advance!

2000 12.1
2500 14.1
3000 15.5
3500 16.0
4000 17.0
4500 17.5
5000 16.0
5500 15.0
6000 14.1
6500 13.1

We have been working on reducing the boost per gear below stock for the stacked guys and decided to add a Valet map since lots of people have requested it. Below is a link to the test firmware for this.
What changes is in map 4 the boost is halved and is the valet map on this version of firmware that will reflect as 60/7//5. The JB4 safety map and logging for stock or flashed is map 0 now. For all safety the JB4 will default to map 4 Valet map.

You can find the Valet firmware here in post 2: http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?p=604740#post604740

Maybe I should look into the Bluetooth module... for changing maps on the fly...

Hi George -

I went into JB4 and updated the firmware but my screen reflects 60/7//5 and not 60/7/6

Is the link correct or did I (likely!) mess it up somehow?

Thanks!

Bill
