How does this mod list look, and what am I missing?

Looking at the list one thing that really jumps out as not worth it are the stainless steel brake lines. I doubt your GF plans to turn the golf into a track beast, and with what I'm assuming is a street car you should probably put the money elsewhere.

I wouldn't put those that high at all. I would say mounts, springs, sway bar, and short shifter are all way more worth while upgrades, and a difference you would actually notice. Brake fluid is more important than the lines even.

034 Sway Bar
VWR Springs
DG SS

So now which brake fluid to run...

Look up Shorty's short shifter. He's one of our members who makes them using all OEM but improved parts. Haven't heard one negative feedback on his products.

Also RSB makes a great improvement in handling. Personally I went with OEM PP bar that is 21.9mm comparing to Golf's 18mm. ST bar is also great for the price.

We have FB page dedicated to Golf TSI if you'd like more of a faster feedback.
