Or get the iabed cooler. Harder to install, but ultimately a cleaner solution.

From what I’ve read it requires deleting an intake manifold support bracket, though.
Again, not wanting to de-rail the thread, but has anyone considered the finned steel oil pan as an option? It's meant to reduce temps, obviously not as effective as a cooler but may be enough for some?
My understanding is that the racing line kit has a thermostat built into the new oil filter mount.
If memory serves me correctly, I recall the initial prototype kit had a spin on filter and a built in thermostat in the sandwich plate. *Edit- DAP had it in their description that it had a thermostat and the picture shows a spin on filter.
Looks like they have a decent oil filter but if you have to change it at every oil change which is after every track weekend, then I would prefer to have the stock filter. My friends already think I’m crazy for changing oil as often as I do.
Talking to the guys at Improved Racing, hopeful they'll be able to help retrofit the thermostat into the oil cooler from Racingline. The mounting position and bracket are worth it to me, the proprietary oil filter isn't the most convenient but I'll likely pickup a handful at the time of purchase to avoid the stress of trying to find one.
Thanks for all your input here everybody, wouldn't have occured to me not being able to get oil temps all the way hot enough without reading your comments here. The goal of a streetable oil cooler that can handle track days is not impossible but certainly not easy at this point either.
