When I was a boy my mother would send me to the corner store with a $1 and I'd come back with 5 bags of potatoes, 2 loaves of bread, 3 bottles of milk, a chunk of cheese, a box of tea, and 6 eggs.

You can't do that now. Too many f*c king security cameras.

I remember going out on Friday night in High School and getting $1 in gas and getting over 3 gallons. Went a good ways in my Dad’s 78’ Civic Hatch.

HA! Gas was 27 cents a gallon when I was 16.

I wasn’t born in the US but the same apply in Spain were I grew up, man I miss those days...
