Need Some VAGCOM Code Help Please

While on a road trip about a week ago, some error flashed on my MFD but I was driving and it disappeared quickly. It was not stored in the infotainment area under "car".

Yesterday I scanned it with my VAGCOM but I am wondering just how serious these codes are? One of them seems to be my gas cap, so that is an easy fix. But it seems like a couple could be serious.

I have an appointment to bring it in Friday but I was hoping some of you guys could help me to understand what is going on so I can communicate with the dealer properly and articulately. Thanks!

I'd clear them all and see what comes back (if anything). Sometimes a transient condition will throw a code and you'll never see it again. When's the last time you pulled codes?

I pulled them about 3 months ago and again yesterday. I'll scan again tomorrow after work and see what popped up but I know the window related codes came back from the scan a few months ago.

I'm assuming it is under warranty still, I wouldn't clear the codes yet. Take it to the dealer and have it at least documented.

I have a CPO warranty but it is over the mileage for the factory warranty. I'll talk to the service advisor, he used to service my former MK5 and he's within my peer group so that should help.

I'm just racking up miles on this thing, I've put almost 8000 miles on it since March when I got it, so I want to get as much warranty work done as possible.

So, after 3.5 days at the dealer, I got the car back. Due to the photo of the error and the results of my scan and theirs, they replaced the entire shifter assembly including the brushed trim. I guess it was cracked and separating, I didn't notice. So that was nice of them.

Additionally, they replaced the driver's front window switch (wasn't going auto down/up). Replaced driver's rear window regulator, as it was making noise. And a couple other small items.

I have a new dashcam that is in the car and would turn on when the door was opened/closed. It's really funny to see what actually happened versus the BS the service department fed me as it related to the time they needed the car. I dropped it off the evening before my appointment, Tuesday. They didn't even scan the car until Thursday round 4pm. And they didn't repair it until Friday. I thought it was odd I never got an update call any of those days until I checked in during the late afternoon. You know, because I have to arrange transportation to and from work, etc... Nice of them to consider me.

The other thing I thought was funny was I got an oil change. The tech was in my car watching YouTube videos for how to reset the service light.

He also neglected to plug in the buttons for driving mode and ESC. And later I noticed he forgot to plug in the driver's lock switch and mirror adjustment. So I get to go back Friday on my day off so they can remedy that. Great, more time. Overall, I'm not too pissed. I got some warranty repairs without much hassle, so I'm happy, though inconvenienced. I don't appreciate the lies about the car being worked on, and they certainly didn't need the car as long as they had it, but worse things have happened.

And... P1734 popped up again exactly 1 year later. Joy. My warranty is up in 25 miles! Should I take it in?

5/60k only started in 2017 or 18. My car is a CPO 2016 and when the error came up I was at 59,975 miles (my CPO was up at 60k). So I contacted VWoA because it would roll over 60k by the time I could get to the dealer.

Long story short, the dealer didn't find any faults and sent me on my way.
