GTD Facelift Virtual Dash

Just got my GTD facelift and realised the virtual dash doesn't show the map in the cockpit

When them navigation display is selected it's only a compass

Strangely remember seeing the map there previously

Any one with a facelift confirm?

Don't get me wrong, but you should best read your manual. The AID is able
to display the map. Along with the 8" Discover Media you have the choice
between displaying that map on either the AID or the headunit, while with
the 9.2" Discover Pro you can display the map on both simultaneously. Any
way - the AID is able to show maps as long as you have ordered your car
with a factory nav system. I'd recommend trying the chrome rocker switch
on the right hand spoke of your multi-function steering wheel first, but again,
there's a manual that's worth reading.

I get a compass on my MK7 only if I haven't planned a route. If a route is planned and has been started then I get directions shown, provided I have selected 'Navigation' from the steering wheel selection buttons i.e. left and right rocker switch. I obviously can't answer for the so-called MK7.5.
