Help me choose my tail lights

I realize this is a super old post but..
I need help picking out the right look for my US GTI.
As you all know we get the ugly non-LEDs here in the U.S.
My car is a carbon steel metallic and I am trying to order LEDs that look just like yours.
You stated that they are "dark red" LEDs...
So just to make sure that's the color VW calls "cherry red" correct?
Not the tinted ones that the Golf R gets?

Hey, yes I bought my car with the standard "cherry red" GTI taillights.

But I tinted them later on and they look very similar to the golf R ones now

Kindi, imho yours still remains the best-looking Gti I've seen!

Almost daily I look at mine with an eye to deleting the front "VW": it looks so clean without...

/end gratuitous fan-rant ;-)

Bronze wheels would really go well with the look of the car. Especially with the gold or bronze accents youve added.

Thanks guys :D and sorry I'm almost not active at all these days

But I have new plans for the car in 2016 so might start being active again :D

Quick question. How did you do the gold inside of the headlights? I assume you separated them?

Car looks amazing too man! Love it.
