I have some toys, my favorite rifle is my 7.5 ar sbr, shotgun is saiga12 with a 20 round drum l, and my pistol would be the cz sp01 tac suppressor ready. The cz is big and heavy but its fantastic to shoot. I'm waiting for some more stamps to come back, then the m92, scorpion, and ar10 will be sbr's too.

"False is the idea of utility that sacrifices a thousand real advantages for one imaginary or trifling inconvenience; that would take fire from men because it burns, or water because one may drown in it; that has no remedy for evils, except destruction."

Had to look him up. Great quote.

The attempted assault weapons ban failed in Delaware yesterday. Luckily, we have a fairly robust right to bear arms written into our state Constitution’s Bill of Rights, specifically for self defense, hunting, and recreation. An AWB would be unconstitutional here, unlike in Maryland, whose AWB the Dem’s here essentially copied word for word.

Anyway, it was nice to see reason not be upended by emotion: https://www.nraila.org/articles/20180606/delaware-gun-ban-legislation-fails-to-pass-senate-committee

Boulder, Colorado wasn't so lucky. Wonder if they'll see a change in population as a result. That's grounds for moving IMO

Scratch that. Senate Democrats have suspended rules and will hold a vote on the AWB tomorrow. Our Senate is 11-10 Dem majority, but one of the Dems is Pro-2A. If any Republican votes for, we’re screwed.

Great I move in on the 29th... Now if I could just keep my tint on the front windows, and pass inspection with a stg2 gti I'd be happy. Until then, I'll be pulling tint and staying stg1 for now.

For those of who are looking for a pro-2A dating service: https://progundating.com/

XD

My girlfriends family isn't crazy about guns - they're not anti-gun, they just aren't owners and don't want to be. But I've slowly been swaying her the other way. She wasn't comfortable with it before, but now she feels safer knowing I have guns in the house. When we were first dating I didn't bring it up for a few weeks but after a month or so we were talking about guns and she mentioned how she doesn't feel safe around guns so I asked "Do you feel unsafe right now?" She said no, and I told her that she was within reaching distance of an AK47 and a pistol. It kind of clicked for her there

I'm trying to show her the ropes of safety and get her comfortable with handling before I take her to the range and teach her how to shoot.
