Having grown up with weak VW Rabbits and even worse, the diesels...lose the Rabbit badge on the white car!

Sootchuckers GTD looks better, excepting the symmetrical dual exhaust of the GTi

Haha - I actually took it off the first week I got the car. I hate that it's a sticker up here in Canada.

This was the only photo shoot with it on.

You guys are so lucky. I choose SE over Rabbit because I wanted all the safety stuff, sunroof, and better info. I would have chosen a Rabbit if it came in the Canada spec.

Got my new windshield tinted yesterday because it was replaced. 60% 3M Crystalline goes well with the 20% sides

Looks good, but how's night vision with a tinted windshield? I bet it keeps the interior cooler, but you've gotta notice a pretty big difference driving at night with anything darker than 90%, no?

Picked her up friday, did a nice wash seal wax on monday.

2 questions:
What is the best product to get a deep gloss? I used Jetseal + Butterwax from chemical guys and it's not giving me the results i want. I was thinking white light from chemical guys.
Added comparison photos of the same regimen on my RDX and it shines like a mofo.

and

My paint fresh from factory had a lot of imperfections in it, little yellow dots. I think a good clay/nanoskin towel should help remove these. Did anyone elses white paint come with a bunch of crap in it?

On white if not using now.
Iron-x. Lemon scent.
This removed rust stains on white.
Wash, rinse.
Spray iron-x. Sit 5 min Wipe in. Hose off. Clay now if you want.
Wash car again.
Wax and seal.

I have my windshield tinted too, at 70%. It doesn't greatly affect my night vision, but it definitely helps take the edge off on bright sunny days. Not to mention the heat, too. Totally worth it for me.

I agree. My previous windshield was 70% and this new 60% isn't really too noticeable of a difference. The glare and heat reduction is immense though
