I made 24 psi and tapered to 15. Also my car weighed 3800+ with me in it so that’s quite a bit more than yours.
my DA is also 2500 more than yours and this was done in the summer.

This is an Alltrack SEL with GTI PP brakes all around and heavier wheels, tires and spacers than stock or your Sportwagen has. I weighed the car with me in it. I was 215 lbs at the time. I also used 93 octane gas for that dyno. This was a very base tune with about 6-8* timing as well. I'm not sure what you're trying to get at.

A true tuned GLI block will be similar to a GTI for HP.

Correct. From my understanding the GLI / 1.8 have the bigger lobe that the GTI transitions to at 3500ish.

the gti is already a sleeper that few people look twice at. seriously compared to some previous cars, even with mildyl modded GTI's noone really cares to hunt me down and try me on the street. Why go through the hassle to make it look ugly? Lol. That's just me though props for having fun.
