Looking for a new car

Guys was wondering what you guys would recommend as a new car, definitely sticking with the Vw golf just want a new run around. Something with a small engine good on fuel and looks good got to be a 7.5 if possible. Any good deals out there at any dealerships or garages cheers guys. Would be good if it was around Herts Beds or Bucks, or London ? thanks guys gonna need it for motorway runs

I've a 1.5 TSI R-Line 150PS, does high 40s on a good run. Should be offers on at the moment as I was recently in the dealers and they had a 'Golf Event', not sure what they were doing but as there's a Mk8 on the horizon then they'll do a deal.

What you should do is get on carwow and spec up what you want and get a price from various dealers, then go to your local dealer and see if they'll match it. Mine did and I saved £2500. You don't ask, you don't get!

the only small engine which looks good in a MK7.5 is as above....unless you go for the non R-line version looks of the GT version...
