Other mk7's mods - Downpipe, intercooler, dsg tune, moose tune e30.
my mods - downpipe, intake mod, 5150 e48 (base map), clutch

Looks like the Intercooler & DSG made the slight difference. Very close though!

Yeah the intercooler makes a difference but overall the manual GTI has more power with an extra 18 ethanol so the DSG is most definitely faster but it's pretty close yeah. I think if you tap out completely and near your max speeds the manual will pull because if gearing and win though, but this race had an expected outcome. The new 7 speed DSG's on the new mk7's will be even faster though.
