SugarMouth that turbo porn! I'm sold. Did you order it without the turbo muffler? I just bought the IE TMD a few days ago while it was on sale. I'm wondering if the turbo will include those bolts

Guys, I have a handful of cars running our turbo with stock fuel system. You just have to limit boost levels a bit, but that’s ok. It still spools at least as fast as the L450 and will offer more overall power potential if you do decide to upgrade fueling at some point. Otherwise just enjoy it at a bit less boost while getting the most out of the stock fuel system. As far as pricing, the base option is $1800. You don’t need the piping kit if you’re going to be running it on stock fueling.

Both are great options. I just want to clear up any misconceptions.

Thanks

Hey Ed, can you buy the piping kit separately/TMD yet?

Am I doing low 3s 0-60 and mid 11s with a 450 turbo with stock fueling? A new 911 walked Son2’s GTI yesterday and it irritated me. I’m in a 17 TT.

If you want to mess with 911s an L450 is not the turbo to do it.

You can run low 3s with an IS38. 0-60 is a relatively meaningless measure.

If that's the class of car you're shooting for, look toward the full frame options.
