Golf-R custom Subwoofer ideas

I have a '16 Golf-R that didn't come with the Fender audio system and I am looking at adding a little thump to the basic factory system.

I am looking to build a 'simple' set-up with the sub box fitting/hiding in the 'spare tire spot' (I have the flat repair kit). I am sure it's going to be a custom box.

Anyone have any pictures of your Sub and Amp set-up?

Helix soundbox.
It is plug and play, well you may have to rent a dongle to program it...

Have a source? I'm not finding it Available, everything I see is "discontinued". Or I'm having trouble finding it.

I just got one a few weeks ago. Makes a VERY noticeable difference, and I'd definitely recommend it. Make sure you program it, it does help.

I bought a premade box and a shallow pioneer 12” sub, powered by a 1600w monoblock amp run from signal at factory head unit.
