Plug and play for the most part. You need the entire assembly. Not just the fuel pump.

It’s totally different. It’s called the vacuum pump.

The R/S3/A3 are the same. The p/n starts with 06L145100 and I’ve seen A, B, F for the the versions.

Looks like F is the latest revision.

Now this is for the vac pump not the HPFP that fits inside it.

Any weight in the gas tank will hurt if you're FWD or even AWD since it launches with a FWD bias. You want as much weight over the front wheels, not the rear. And I don't know of any MQB models or Volkswagens that are RWD...

That’s awesome stuff. Are you running a stock pump, or did you upgrade the piston while you were in there? Still on the 1.8 injectors?

I got the pump yesterday and just threw it in. I’ll eventually upgrade to a bigger one. Currently, I’ll save the $500.

Has golf r injectors.

Nice. I’ll be curious to see what it runs at the track. Should rip once it’s all dialed in.

I upgraded my HPFP tonight after a huge fuck up on my part and got lucky to a GTI. Just adding that alone took off .2 from my 1/4. Definitely get that fuel pump and get a tune from Matthew (wy2lo)

Yes, it was upside down. In order to install it you had to take the HPFP off the vac pump otherwise it wouldn’t fit.
