Just got a message back from VW - My order was placed on the 1st Feb, my car is scheduled to build in week 13 (w/c 21 March), however this is currently unconfirmed so the date can change.

Looks like I may have to go this route as well since the configuration that I want (4-door S w/DSG, PP, LP) is almost non-existent. In fact there's only 2 examples in the US on dealer lots at this point, and not in the color I want.

What colour were you after? I was pretty much all set for pure white till I spotted an Oryx White (that plus the Car-Net App-Connect need meant it was going to be a factory order)

I want mine in Carbon Steel Metallic, but apparently so did everybody else :p
