Anyone running these?

I would like to see some real world opinions from anybody that has them.

They got a really good review here: https://www.hotrod.com/articles/generals-g-max-rs-may-change-the-way-uhp-tires-are-made/

...and here http://www.tirereview.com/general-tire-debuts-first-summer-uhp-tire/

..here too https://www.automobilemag.com/news/putting-the-general-tire-grabber-atx-and-g-max-rs-to-the-test/

Thinking that these may be my replacements for the stock P7s. The stock P7s are just about 3 years old and have 34k on them. I'll need to replace them in spring 2019. I have a set of winter wheels & tires, so a set of these should last me a while.

I have a review posted a few weeks ago. In short I love them. I also replaced the OEM P7s

I don't have any experience with them, but I was really really close to purchasing them before I bought my Indy500s. All the reviews I saw were good. Price was right. Literally the only reason I didn't was because of the tread being unidirectional.

I would recommend going with 235/40 though (on stock wheels), regardless of whatever tire you choose.

I've been running these on my S3 for over 6mo now. Although I just do mostly daily driving I'd say they are a decent tire for the money. I replaced Continental DWS 06 and I'd say they are comparable. Other thing I like about them is they are very light. Most important area for weight savings is rotational mass, which is also unsprung. And your tires are at the outer edge of that rotational mass so that's more important than an equal amount of weight savings for wheels. Of course if the tires suck weight savings is a moot point.

Thanks! $70 rebate right now too for them. Just waiting for another ebay 15/20% off coupon to try to get them for a steal.
