As reliable as with the Is20 as long as you don’t pass the limits for the stock internals it should be the same.

It could. We don’t know the full limitations of the 1.8. The 1.8 has similar rods to the 2.0 and I’m sure the pistons are the same material. However the 2.0 has a forged crank while the 1.8 doesn’t.
The is38 turbo isn’t being fully pushed on my car yet and I don’t have a massive torque spike at the beginning of my rev range that kills motors.

Holy timing.... what fuel was this running on? I'm assuming something like Meth + Corn?

That wasn’t an engine limit, that was a fuel limit which caused the cylinder 1 piston to melt.

The stock lpfp runs out over long runs like the 1/4 if running high ethanol and/or high boost.
