so, no wiring harness with it? I see you cut it.
Without the wiring harness, it's not auto-dimming. It's just a frameless mirror.

for example, the same mirror but with Homelink garage door opener for my car is VW part number 000072548F. Google Shopping is your friend.

The mirror itself is an auto dimming mirror. I didn’t cut anything. I purchased this mirror to install but later decided I didn’t want to install it.
You can get the wire harness separately from aliexpress for $15.

how can someone know if this or what part# mirror will fit a 2016 Golf R base model vehicle without any DCC or DAP.? thanks much!!
For base MY16 R you’ll need part #000-072-548-C
Thanks Don Tuan! i imagine this is not a replacement, but a frameless mirror replacement in place of the framed factory one. i dont care for homelink which that part# translates to though.
