How to remove top dash panel

There is a loose rattling coming from under the dash of my 2015 Golf-R.
I've listened carefully and think the only way to fix this is going to be to remove the dash, so I want to get in/out with the fewest number of steps.
I've searched through the forum and couldn't find any other threads on this.

Here's a picture of where the noise is coming from
TIA

Could be easier to remove the display clock and look in there first - maybe the metal bracket rattling?
Not sure on LHD cars but does your dash end cover prise out?

Can and have pried off the cover, but it's nowhere near the sound

The sound is like a loose part or broken piece of plastic rattling around, and the sound is clearly coming from the top, left corner of the dash, so that's why I asked, how to remove the dash for inspection

In the same boat. Has anyone ever happened to find a tutorial?

Isn’t there a known common A pillar rattle? But yes removing the dials is easy and you can reach in quite far, it’s worth pointing out though that the noise in these cars is rarely coming from where you think it is, try the sun visor and vanity light, get up under the dash too and have a feel about!
