Rear License Plate Light Film

I do not have that thingy to reprogram my rear license plate lights to LED.

I got this blue film on Amazon and used 4 layers of it to cover the lenses and get that "LED" hue. I think it looks legit. $5

Here are pics of tint film on car and the color change in visible light on plates. Looks just like LED. I know because my Subaru and Toyota have LED's and I did a side by side. :D

While blue over yellow = white it will for sure kill the visibility and be illegal to the point where cops will pull you over.

Our plug and play HID/LEDs are brighter and create a lot more visibility without the unwanted attention:

How about OE LED plate lights and some black tape on the dash lol.
Seriously though the LEDs only need to cost $10 not $50.
Apply the money you save to a used OBDEleven so you can avoid paying extra in the future.

I have used other LED bulbs on other vehicles and yes they work but I have never found any as bright as deautoled. It does depend what you want and if bright is not it, then other lights will do. Yes they cost more, but 3 years later I had my license plate LED bulbs lose some led pods and deautoled replaced them. So life time warranty and good Forum support.

I got the deautoLED lights. They are damn bright! I had to dial it down 80% with OBD11.

Not a bad idea, no good reason making them too visible lol. These are definitely bright enough for me, see for yourself here are deauto taillight LEDs with the cheap AliExpress plate lights
