Mk7 tdi rear lights to the GTI LEDS

I have a 2014 Mk7 tdi and I would like to change the standard rear bulbs to the GTI LEDs. If I buy the genuine LEDs can I just directly plug them in or what work do I need to have done to get them to function properly?

Coding and harness if u want to fit them.look into exterior section in the sub forums. Loads of people have done it. Or check out hazzy days.com they will fit then for u but it's exspensive

You just need one long repair wire to go from the inner to the outer lights on each side, and then bridge pins 1 and 4 on the outer connector. Easy peasy.

I did the same, but with the Golf R smoked lights rather than the GTI.
