Its a strip of orange LED's with a white diffuser in front of it. If you look closely from the edge you can kind of see that its cheap made in China and not OEM, but that's really hard to tell further than a few inches away haha.

Finally recieved my clear turn indicators today. I made a comparison video for these clear turn signals VS the tinted "Dynablink" signals. The clear ones match the brightness and light output of the front LED turn signals on the MK7.5 and looks a little bit more OEM. I will say though that they are BRIGHT, like really bright at night but will be great during the day. Very happy with them considering I paid $58usd shipped (to Canada)on Ebay for them[emoji1303][emoji1303]

I didn't expect the difference to be that noticeable. I have the tinted ones (installed on my folding mirrors, which are not installed on my car yet) but if these were available at the time I think I would have got them instead.
Paid about $10 more for the tinted 6 months ago. If the little driver indicator doesn't work maybe I'll pick these up anyway. Thanks for posting the video.

I just got the clear ones from aliexpress for ~$60, should have checked ebay lol.
Build quality is alright, they are 3 pin... pins weren't exactly straight but plugging them in wasn't a problem. LEDs are in a white silicone tube that isn't cut very cleanly at the end, but it's minor and only noticeable if you're studying it closely.
Honestly I like the look of the tinted ones better when they're off, but I have a deep seated hatred of all tinted lights because.... well physics I guess.
People crap on the stock blinkers but they were only designed to be viewed from the side, and from that angle they're not bad at all. These are brighter from every angle, I just hope they don't pull enough current to damage anything. They may only be on briefly, but I think they have 48 LEDs and stock likely only has a few.
Mirror housing indicator works fine, just a little dimmer and on for a shorter period of time. Biggest criticism is there's some light bleed behind the mirror.... not noticeable outside the car, but you'll see it from inside at night.
First gif is in slow motion which is why the front blinkers look so f'ing sweet. [emoji16] Second is to show the light bleed. Interesting observation.... noticed when the hazards were on the blink duration seems to change with the ignition off vs on. Almost like it shaves a fraction of a second off to save power. [emoji848]
