Canadians have been able to order them since early this year from what I have read on vortex.

It's not looking good for custom colors, at least for the initial run of R's that make their way to the US.

I’m not sure as to how soon you can buy one from dealer, honestly don’t know how they were ordered or anything. There was a bunch of GTI on the boat too like tons. Boat brought over 1,700 cars.

And all colors from the looks of it for the Golf R have remained unchanged for typical USA colors.
