So the car is showing a P0234 on Vag Com which is Engine Over Boost
Messaged George at BMS, he wants me to try auto shift boost reduction 100 and report back
Has anyone else run into to this issue when stacking ?
Yes I did. When stacking in map6 with aggressive settings, I got an EPC light (overboost). For me this was happening going well into 4th gear around 5000ish rpm.
My settings were too aggressive for the summer months / heat. The car was hitting beyond it's torque limits. This is mostly likely due to IAT which are higher than in winter and early spring.
I have re-run the car with auto shift boost reduction set to 100 and still having EPCs. Every time I get an EPC around 5000 rpm if i start a run in 3rd gear and shift into 4th. I tried running the car in both map 6 with a conservative boost setting and the stock map 4 setting and get consistent EPCs at the same point.

I am going to try running a stock diverter valve in place of the DV+ on the car.
Anyone have thoughts on what else I can try? Have people been having issues with unitronic causing EPCs ?
Try logging in map0 (technically JB4 is disabled and doing nothing on this map). You can actually still log in map0. You don't have to be in map4.
What are your map6 settings? (boost, FOL, boost safety etc.)
Do you think the JB4 could be contributing even when it is in map4 ?
I am also considering having the car reflashed for IS38 and DSG to see if maybe something in the software go corrupted?
Could be. I kept thinking the JB4 couldn't be responsible for a lot of things. Until I finally understood that while the JB4 is awesome for what it is, it's still a device that hacks sensors.
What I would do is put the JB4 on map0 and try logging. If you still have issues. Log via Vag com (VCDS) and send them to Unitronic. I had torque limitation issue (because of the OEM DSG tune) and they can only help out if you log via Vag com.
Maybe the Uni stage 2+ for IS38 can't be stacked with the JB4 because it's already at it's threshold?!
Keep in mind everything offered by Uni is conservative. Pushing it beyond the ''safe limits'' established by Uni might results in the ECU not liking it.
