If i Buy a exhaust system that was made for the 2.0L mk7 GTI could it still fit the 1.8L mk7 Golf?

You'll need to buy a GTI rear valence and a different adapter for the connection between the catback and downpipe, but yes. This is assuming you mean a catback exhaust.
