DAP on 7.5's

Was just at a dealer. I was in a new R, which I figure has the same DAP as the GTI. It had Maneuver Assist and Lane Assist on the Infotainment menu but didn't list Adaptive Lane Tracking.

What is Maneuver Assist and is Adaptive Lane Tracking included in Lane Assist now?

The new lane assist works by self steering the car back into the lane if you start to drift over the lines without turn signal on.

A worthless, PITA feature that I always turn off on other vehicles that I own.

i have it on my wife's 2018 Tiguan. it just pulls you back into lane if you drift off. Supposedly for people that text or drop their phones. I turned it off at first, but now i leave it on. Despite neither of us ever using our phones while driving. One thing its good for, is that it gives you little reminder to use your signals before maneuvering into another lane, whereas if you were lazy and on an empty road, you may of just gone into the other lane prior.
