I like look of 19s.
I would like feel of 18s
R is stock with contisportcontact...HP summer. can't say if good or bad as no comparison to anything else.

So you will need an all season tire at some point then?
I agree 19's look good but I have bent two 18's so far.
I even noticed the road issue and had moved to avoid and still hit part of it in both cases.
I think the wheels you picked will look best on the R. Better than the Audi shown. They are also unique and not used much up to now.

A black R will be best.

Summer Bathing

Drenched her is massage oils. Cleaned her up and then applied some sealant/protectant on the window gaskets. The gaskets have faded way to quickly to an ugly gray at only 7,000 miles. This stuff seemed to do the trick. We'll see how it holds up.

Sticker Shield

Sticker Shield

So, prior to getting my windshield tint, I was concerned about the inspection sticker. I had read about some installers just cutting a box around the sticker. Sounded silly. I read that some who installed a windshield tint had dealers razors blade a cut right into the tint. Yikes. Quick research led me to this product. Thought I would give it a try.

Advice: Wait until your inspection date. I spent an hour heating my existing inspection sticker and patiently peeling off a cm at a time, trying not to rip it. I eventually did it. The sticker shield works well, but the used inspection sticker doesn't stick well to the back of the sticker shield. So, wait for a fresh inspection sticker adhesive. Have your dealer give you the sticker or have them install it on the shield first.

Sticker Shield for $6.99 single pack, $10.99 2 pack: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01466E24S/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I'd recommend this to anyone getting a windshield tint or for those who hate the mess that is left year after year of sloppy sticker installs. I even showed this to the tint installer and he is going to start carrying it in the shop. I should get a royalty. :D

I did the storage compartment felt lining "mod" today and it's great thanks for the inspiration!

the change rattling around in there was driving me crazy and even tho I'm not even close to an arts n crafts kindv guy I got this done in a short amount of time with zero cursing!

ordered the felt sheets with adhesive backing for $14 from amazon and only needed to use 2 of them so if I can do it anyone can.

highly recommend.
