Quick question

For those that have the DEautokey HID H7rc kit, how did you do the install? Did you have to remove the headlights, drop the front bumper? Where did you mount the igniter? Not much of a detailed install thread that I found.

You should be able to mount everything inside the headlight. The most I'd expect to remove would be the air box.

No, you do not need to remove the bumper to access the bulbs. It is a lot easier if you do. I had trouble getting the adapter to fit just right and it took me hours. Ended up removing the bumper anyways to swap out with ed's replicas. Wasn't very happy with deautokey's lights. Search my older posts for why

Thanks for sharing tips on installing. Many install these without removing the housing. Here is a DIY for the MK6 Jetta - the MK7 requires the adapters:
