Temporarily. It's back now. Back to testing to see of it is e-brake related. I feel like the last time I heard it, it may have been more up by the passenger firewall. I hate tracking down rogue noises.

I'll have to check that out if my e-brake theory doesn't hold up. I'd hope mounts are okay as the car only has 26k on it and a stock drivetrain.

Best of luck. Mine went away after a couple of weeks. I think it was related to the big temperature change around that time (from cold to hot). I've got a whole host of other noises and rattles that have started since though :/
