Dsg gearbox oil

Can anyone confirm if the 7spd DSG gearbox needs an oil change at 40,000 miles like VW are insisting on? It’s a 13 plate mk7 and I believe it’s the DQ200 gearbox and it was sealed for life?

According to Volkswagen, DQ200 boxes have no service interval/require oil changes.

The DQ250 (6 speed) requires a change every 40k.

The 7speed has a dry clutch, the 6speed is a wet clutch hence the 7speed never gets contaminated so doesn't require changing.
